Sara and Andy’s Evergreen Lake House wedding was one of my favorites of the season! They were able to host their friends and family from all over the country and treat them to some iconic Colorado experiences, including hiking at Red Rocks Park together the morning of their wedding, and then heading back to Red Rocks for their first look and wedding party photos.
Both Sara and Andy were super laid back the day of their wedding and ready to get married. They had planned everything so well that the wedding day itself was low key and super fun. In fact, the bridesmaids made all of the bouquets in the hotel room while Sara was getting ready, and the groomsmen enjoyed a few of Colorado’s famous brews while making their own boutonnières!
Some of my favorite things about this wedding: Sara’s Hayley Paige wedding gown (gah!) … Sara and Andy’s first look (so sweet!) … entering their reception by going outside (with guests waving ribbon wands) … having their first dance outdoors on the lakehouse deck (brilliant!) … and Sara’s gorgeous wedding hair (Pinterest worthy for sure!).
Sara and Andy left two days after their wedding for a 10-day trip to Portugal, visiting cities, a beach town, the countryside, and wine country — most of which Andy planned on his own to make it a fun surprise for Sara! I have no doubt these two are in for a lifetime of adventure and happiness!
